It would be good if some manufacturers leave Slovakia, says Environment Minister Ján Budaj

The energy price spike could be a favorable environment to curb energy-intensive production in Slovakia and it would be good if some manufacturers leave Slovakia, said Environment Minister Ján Budaj (OĽaNO). He gave Slovalco (aluminum) and Duslo (fertilizers) as examples. However, he is concerned that the current government might provide special subsidies to energy-intensive companies. Bolo by dobré, keby niektoré výroby zo Slovenska odišli, hovorí Budaj
