Czech-based Pale Fire Capital has invested €2.3m into the local CF Group (Jozef Bardík) that runs fast food chains Regal Burger, Poke Bistro, La Garnacha, Chuck&Frida, and Banh-mi-Ba. CF Group used some of the money to acquire a majority stake in Vietnamese street food chain Banh-mi-Ba from Pale Fire Capital. The chain is entering the Slovak market and is opening the first joint in the Nivy center. CF Group plans to open 20 new places in the final quarter of this year. Its Regal Burger is the largest chain of its kind in the CEE region, with 30 places.
