Shapen and Sensoneo fastest‑growing companies in Slovakia
This year's FT 1000 ranking of Europe’s fastest‑growing companies for 2021–24 includes two Slovak firms: online barefoot‑shoe retailer Shapen (Mia Štepanovská) and waste‑management company Sensoneo (Basila family). Shapen reported €5.4m in sales last year and Sensoneo €15m. Grupo Antolin to close its Trnava plant
Automotive supplier Grupo Antolin announced the closure of its Trnava plant, which once employed several hundred workers producing interior components for luxury vehicles but currently has just 50 employees. The Spanish group also operates plants in Bratislava, Nitra, and Žilina. Antolin Trnava's sales fell by two-thirds to €16.5m in 2024, and the plant has reported losses in all but one year since 2023. V tohtoročnom rebríčku FT 1000 najrýchlejšie rastúcich firiem v Európe za roky 2021-24 sú dve slovenské firmy, online predajca barefoot obuvi Shapen (Mia Štepanovská) a firma v oblasti odpadového hospodárstva Sensoneo (manželia Basilovci). Grupo Antolin zatvára závod v Trnave
Automobilový dodávateľ Grupo Antolin oznámil, že zatvára závod v Trnave. Ten v minulosti zamestnával pri výrobe interiérových prvkov do luxusných áut niekoľko stoviek pracovníkov, ich aktuálny počet je 50. Španielska skupina má závody aj v Bratislave, Nitre a Žiline. Inalfa Roof Systems to open a product development center in CTPark Trnava
Dutch automotive roof‑system manufacturer Inalfa Roof Systems will open a product development center with 80 engineers in CTPark Trnava North in May. Veolia is acquiring Slovak assets of Engie
The anti‑trust authority PMÚ is reviewing a deal in which French group Veolia is acquiring the Slovak assets of another French group, Engie , specifically Engie Services, Račianska teplárenská, and Prvá ružinovská spoločnosť. The tax authority FS imposed €1.3m in back taxes on Allexis (now All Soft Corp) in 2024. The company was previously owned by Michal Suchoba and Jozef Brhel .
