Vosem group (Tomáš Spuchliak) is acquiring a chain of 50 stores COOP Jednota Dunajská Streda, which has annual sales of €45m, low profits, and 330 employees. Vosem group has assets worth €150m, annual sales of €50m, EBITDA of €9m, and employs 450. It owns a chain of 90 Danubius meat stores (annual sales of €12m), a slaughterhouse in Komárno, and bakery Nelapek Nové Zámky (annual sales of €11m). It also owns the Point Brezno shopping center and 37 other properties with a total area of 100,000 sqm. To raise additional capital, it is preparing to launch its own asset manager, Vosem Capital, for which it obtained a license from the central bank NBS last year. The goal is to have €1bn under management by 2030.
