Viktor Stromček financed purchase of Zoznam by Martin Mác
Viktor Stromček, former Smer treasurer, lent €7m to Martin Mác for the purchase of Zoznam (including tabloid portal topky.sk) from Slovak Telekom this summer, according to data of Zastavme korupciu, an NGO. Mác also took out an €8.8m loan from SLSP. Stromček’s firm Little Tree made the loan using €8.4m credit it took from Prima banka. Stromček declined to comment, and would also not disclose the source of his substantial wealth that does not correspond to his official income.
