Towercom is interested in buying physical infrastructure of mobile phone operators
Towercom, owned by an investment group, Macquarie, is interested in buying the physical infrastructure of mobile phone operators. They would then lease the network back and keep providing services. It also wants to expand its own fiber-optic network, which it currently has in only one district of Bratislava. It is also building a fiber-optic network towards its 660 TV and radio signal transmitters, more than half of which are also used by mobile operators.
