Terichem Tervakoski to invest €30m in expanding its Svit plant
The Economy Ministry proposed a €4.5m investment stimulus for a €30m investment by Terichem Tervakoski in expanding the production of dielectric foils used in power transmission systems. The project at its plant in Svit will create 36 jobs and increase production capacity by two-thirds to 10,000 tons per year by 2026. The company is a joint venture of Finnish Ab Rani Plast and Slovak Chemosvit. Last year, the plant increased its net profit by 161% to €5.9m and its sales soared by 66% to €51.9m.
