Sylex to double sales in five years

Sylex (Dana Synaková), which manufactures fiber optic cable-based sensors, is hiring 100 employees under a contract with a new American customer in the data center sector. It doubled net profit to €2.1m last year following a 9% increase in sales to €16m. The company aims to double sales within five years. It employs 200 people. Roughly 80% of its customers are in Europe, with the remainder in the US. It is seeking contracts in the defense industry.
