SPP will pay an €80m special dividend to the state
SPP, a loss-making state-owned gas utility, will pay an €80m special dividend to the state this year. It will get the money from eustream, an international pipeline operator in which SPP holds a 51% stake. SPP has been in the red since 2013 if dividends from its subsidiaries are not taken into account; last year, its operating loss toped €100m. The new government wants to turn it around.
