Spending on digital advertising up 7% in 1H

Spending on digital advertising in Slovakia rose 7% annually in 1H to €111m, according to IAB data. Economic uncertainty slowed the growth rate from last year’s 10%. Growth was driven by spending on platforms such as Facebook and Google, while spending on Slovak media declined by 4%. Video ad spending increased the most, up 21%, accounting for 22% of total spending. Fully 79% of display ads is now purchased programmatically.
