Spending in Slovak online stores down 13% in 2022

Spending in Slovak online stores was down 13% annually to €1.8bn last year, price comparison site Heureka estimates. The spending shot up 29% in 2020 and a further 19% in 2021. Sales of electronics fell 5% last year but this was still the largest category, with a 19% share. Clothing sales were down 22%, books 21%, and furniture 17%.
In Czechia, online sales were down just 1%.
