Slovenské elektrárne to launch fourth unit of Mochovce nuclear power in 2026

Slovenské elektrárne expects to receive permission to load fuel into the fourth unit of the Mochovce nuclear power plant in 1Q or 2Q 2026, once the nuclear authority ÚJD completes all inspections. The unit is scheduled to be connected to the grid in 2026, further strengthening Slovakia’s position as a net power exporter.
