Slovaks’ financial wealth stood at €21,530 per capita at the end of 2024, according to Allianz’s Global Wealth Report. In addition to bank deposits, the figure includes investments and pension funds. Among European countries, only Poland, Romania, and Serbia reported lower levels of wealth. Slovaks hold a relatively large share of their assets in real estate, while low incomes limit their ability to build financial wealth. Gross financial assets per capita:

Austria | €99,920 | €68,049 |
Czechia | €44,910 | €16,278 |
Hungary | €28,830 | €12,114 |
Slovakia | €21,530 | €10,228 |
Poland | €21,180 | €9,922 |
