Slovaks are leaving parental homes late in life
Slovaks were leaving parental homes on average at the age of 31 last year, which is the 2nd-highest age in the EU, Eurostat reported. The EU average was 26.3 years. The highest average age was in Croatia (31.8) and the lowest in Finland (21.4 years). The figure was 25.3 years in Austria, 25.4 in Czechia and 27.1 in Poland and Hungary.
