Slovaks are lagging behind in terms of financial assets and their debts are relatively high
Slovaks are still lagging behind in terms of financial assets and their debts are relatively high, reads the regular Allianz Global Wealth Report 2024. The best performers in terms of financial assets are households in the USA, Switzerland and Denmark, with Slovakia ranking 41st among 57 countries. Slovaks have a large part of their wealth in real estate. Households' average net financial assets and debts in 2023:
