Slovakia remains uncompetitive

Slovakia ranks 49th out of 63 countries in the latest World Competitiveness Ranking compiled by the Swiss IMD institute. Last year it ranked 50th. Denmark tops the ranking, replacing Switzerland. Czechia moved up eight places to 26th, Hungary ranks 39th and Poland comes 50th. The ranking takes into account economic performance, government efficiency, business environment, infrastructure, and a survey among top managers.
