Slovakia is among the most reform-minded countries in the EU
The Finance Ministry will send its reform Recovery Plan for comments next week, says Lívia Vašáková from the ministry. Slovakia will send the Plan to Brussels by the end of April. Based on meeting some targets or milestones (such as approval of legislation or launching specific projects), Slovakia will then be receiving money from the EU’s Recovery Fund. In the Plan, Slovakia will pledge to enact about 20 reforms, including in the tax, judicial, education, and healthcare systems, as well as build bike paths and improve biodiversity and forest management. According to Vašáková, the EU says Slovakia is among the most reform-minded countries.
