Slovakia has energy cooperation deal with USA

PM Robert Fico signed a nuclear‑energy cooperation agreement in Washington with US Energy Secretary Chris Wright. The agreement is likely to lead to the construction of a 1,200 MW nuclear unit costing €13-15bn in Jaslovské Bohunice, with Westinghouse expected to supply the technology. A key part of the agreement was Fico’s meeting with US President Donald Trump on Saturday.
