Slovakia has 2nd least affordable housing in Europe
An average Slovak earner needs 12.7 annual salaries to buy an average 70 sqm apartment, which is the 2nd-highest value in 24 European countries after Czechia (13.3) in Deloitte's report. In a comparison of capital cities, Amsterdam (15.1) had the least affordable housing, with Bratislava (12.9) coming 4th behind Prague and Athens. At the other end of the ranking were Rome and Oslo.
