The total cost to a company for an employee with a gross annual salary of €32,000 is €43,264 in Slovakia, the third-highest in the EU after France and Italy, according to Boundless platform data. The EU average is €39,134. Companies’ labor costs are driven mainly by high payroll levies. The net salary of such an employee in Slovakia is €22,440.
