Slovak arable land is cheap
Arable land rents in the EU in 2022 ranged from a low of €57 per hectare in Slovakia to €843 in the Netherlands, Eurostat reported. The average rent in the union stood at €233. The average price of arable land in the EU was €10,578 per hectare, ranging from €3,700 in Croatia to €233,230 in Malta. The Slovak average was €4,790, up from €4,000 a year ago.
