Shoe maker Artra slapped with €0.9m fine for rigging public procurement
The Council of PMÚ, the anti-trust authority, has confirmed €1.1m fines to six companies for rigging public procurement in 2015-17 carried out via the electronic marketplace. These were supplies of footwear, clothing, furniture, and healthcare equipment. Work shoes manufacturer Artra (Ivan Arvay) was slapped with the highest fine, of €0.9m. Back in 2019, it reported €11.2m sales. All six companies were banned from taking part in public procurement for three years.
