Sensoneo keeps expanding
Slovak technology company Sensoneo (Basila family), which offers waste management solutions to cities and companies, will double its sales for the third time in a row this year (to €4m) and wants to continue growing at the same pace. It employs 90 people and last year won tenders to manage deposit-return system for plastic bottles in Slovakia and Malta, and wants to win the same tenders in Romania, Ireland, Hungary, and Slovenia. For now, it prefers expansion over profitability. It received a €1.4m grant from the EU and €4.8m from investors. It is raising further €10m. It provides waste management for Prague as well as German John Deere factories.
