Sales of Slovak online stores were 8% higher annually in December, according to data from Upgates, an online store platform. Online stores expected their sales to drop after the pandemic. Cosmetics, jewelry, and sporting goods stores posted the biggest increase, while home accessories, food, and toy stores did the worst. Pre-Christmas sales of Czech online stores fell by 5%.
