Real estate prices are up

Real estate prices were higher under an annual comparison in all regional cities in the third quarter, nehnutelnosti.sk data show. They responded to a growing number of ads on real estate portals and falling mortgage rates. Prices in Bratislava, Košice, and Žilina are close to the all-time highs of two years ago, while prices are stagnating in Nitra, Trenčín, and Trnava. The fastest annual growth in 2-room apartment prices was seen in Bratislava I (+17%), Žilina (+13%) and Košice III (+15%). For 3-room units, the price growth is slower, the highest being in Košice IV (+20%) and Žilina (+12%). The portal expects further price growth by the end of this year.
