Processor maker Tachyum received €26m grant from EU

American-Slovak processor maker Tachyum (Radoslav Danilák) is among 56 companies from 14 countries to receive €8.1bn in grants from the European Commission. Tachyum is to receive €26.4m to develop its Prodigy processor for data centers. It is expected to deliver high performance with low power consumption, and the company plans to start production next year in Taiwan.
