Penta wants to expand in Asia

Penta is considering investing in the betting and pharmacy businesses in Asia. It is exploring acquisitions as well as greenfield projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, said partner Jaroslav Haščák. It wants to make large investments with financial partners and raise €2bn for external investors within five years. Its Dr.Max pharmacy chain is already the leader in the CEE region and No.2 in Europe. Its Fortuna betting agency is the CEE leader. Penta RE has already signed an agreement to enter three large real estate projects in London with a total investment of €600m.
