Parliament passed legislation to limit speculative objections to investment plans
Parliament passed legislation to limit speculative objections to investment plans. "Activists" such as Marcel Slávik are still collecting money from businesses in exchange for withdrawing objections to the environmental impact assessment of their projects. The new legislation will simplify the EIA process, curb the re-introduction of the same objections, and shorten the time limits for the authorities when issuing standpoints. The approval process for large projects will be much faster.
