Office vacancy rate in Bratislava rose to double digits

Office vacancy rate in Bratislava rose to double digits in the third quarter, according to Bratislava Research Forum, It stands at 10.1%, up from 9.8% in the 2Q. Almost a third of vacant premises were built or renovated after 2018. In the third quarter, 2,300 sqm of new offices hit the market and the total area stands at 1.9m sqm. In 1-3Q, 50,000 sqm new offices opened. Seven projects with 87,000 sqm offices are to be completed by the end of 2021.
