New Mochovce nuclear power plant bloc started supplying electricity to the grid
The third Mochovce nuclear power plant bloc started supplying electricity to the grid yesterday, reaching 20% of its capacity. This will help Slovenské elektrárne meet its commitment to supply cheap electricity to households in 2023-24. At full capacity, the 471 MW bloc will cover 13% of Slovakia's electricity consumption, possibly as early as April.
