Net electricity exports down this year

Slovakia reported net electricity exports of 1.4 TWh in 1–3Q, down 39% annually. The decline was driven by a 4% drop in domestic production, particularly in hydroelectric plants due to lower rainfall. Electricity consumption remained unchanged from last year. Hungary and Ukraine remained the main export markets.
