Nafta paid out €202m dividend for last year
Gas storage operator Nafta, controlled by EPH (Patrik Tkáč and Daniel Křetínský), has still not published its financial results for last year. However, it has already paid a €202m dividend from last year's profits, whereas previously its profits stood at €70-80m a year. The energy crisis has increased demand for gas storage. The state imposed a special tax only on Slovnaft, although profits shot up for several energy firms.
