MTS plans to invest €25m

MTS (Juraj Habovštiak), which supplies automation technologies, improved its net profit 66% to €4.8m last year, and its sales were up 22% to €45.6m. Last year, it added two new plants in Liptovský Mikuláš and Banská Bystrica to its key production facility in Krivá, Orava region. It employs 450. Besides automation technology, it also makes backup systems for the energy sector. It plans to invest €25m in the coming 2-3 years into expanding its production capacity.
