MTS keeps expanding

MTS (Juraj Habovštiak), a manufacturer of automated production lines, acquired a small competitor, Banská Bystrica-based Stanko, in the summer. It plans to move its 40 workers to a new €4m plant in Banská Bystrica that will employ 80 upon completion next year. The plant will also include a technology center with ten engineers. MTS asked for €0.3m in investment stimulus for the center. Besides its key plant in Krivá, MTS already has another plant with 40 workers in Liptovský Mikuláš.
