Ministries signed 70 contracts worth €49m with consultancies
In June and July, ministries signed 70 contracts worth €49m with consultancies. These were the last two months of a framework contract with EY, Stengl, Alistiq, Radvise Group, Centire, and BDO Audit. The consultancy firms are to help improve, for example, eGovernment services, IT equipment in schools, municipal shared service centers, and the concept of rental housing. The largest contract went to Stengl, which will get €10.6m to help the Labor Ministry analyze its IT systems and administrative capacities. The previous government used consulting firms less and tried to build the state's internal capacity. Experts question both the usefulness and qualifications of consulting firms.
