Mevis and Zhejiang Zhongze PT to build a plant in Šamorín making EV battery cell casings

Italian automotive supplier Mevis and China's Zhejiang Zhongze Precision Technology will build a plant in Šamorín making battery cell casings for electric cars. They did not specify the size of the investment. The plant is to work with the planned battery factory of China's Gotion in Šurany. Mevis makes car parts in Šamorín and posted revenue of €65m and profit of €1m there last year.
