Messer completed acquisition of the Slovak and Czech subsidiary of Air Liquide

Germany’s Messer has completed the acquisition of the Slovak and Czech subsidiary of French Air Liquide and cemented its leading position on the Slovak industrial gas market. Price was not disclosed. Air Liquide had €9m annual sales and 30 workers in Slovakia. Messer has €40m sales here and employs 120. It is building a new €10m argon production facility in Šaľa.
