Marguerite to acquire a 25% stake in telecoms operator Swan
Investment fund Marguerite is to acquire a 25% stake in telecoms operator Swan (Ondriš brothers; brand 4ka) in exchange for €50m in capital for investments. Juraj Ondriš expects the new investor to keep the stake for at least 6-7 years. The previous investor, Sandberg Capital, made a “triple digit yield” on its 50% stake in Swan when it sold it in 2021. Swan will also use the new capital to acquire smaller competitors. It is not considering buying UPC.
Swan had 620,000 active SIM cards at the end of last year. Its revenues rose 2% to €139m, it posted an operating profit of €40m and invested €26m.
