Mahle Behr expands in Námestovo

The government approved a €1.5m investment incentive (income tax break) for a €9.5m investment by German automotive supplier Mahle Behr in its plant in Námestovo. It will expand the production of exhaust gas recirculation modules there, increasing production capacity by 30%, and creating 60 jobs by the end of 2025. Until now, the plant has been producing exhaust gas coolers.

Mahle also has plants in Senica (air conditioning; 400 employees) and Dolný Kubin (bearings; 300). All three plants have annual sales of €230m.
