SAM Industries (László Gyurovszky), which produces technologies for the chemical sector, quadrupled its net profit to €9.6m last year and nearly doubled sales to €110m. The firm employs 400 people and benefits from producing technologies for processing non-Russian oil for the Slovnaft refinery, which is investing €200m in the upgrade. Gyurovszky is a friend of Oszkár Világi who serves as BoD member of Slovnaft’s owner Mol. SAM Industries also started manufacturing components for electrolyzers used in green hydrogen production. Major clients include Duslo, Slovenské elektrárne, Poľnoservis, and SVP.
Gyurovszky also owns the Château Rúbaň winery and a fifth of GreenCoop, Slovakia’s largest tomato grower.
