Legal representative to be liable for tax debts

The Finance Ministry is preparing a Tax Code revision that, to curb tax evasion, will allow the tax authority FS to send enforcement orders directly to banks and conduct online auctions of seized assets. It will introduce joint liability for individuals for the actions of companies, including revocation of a driver’s license or seizure of the assets of a legal representative of a tax dodger.
