Labor unions at Amazon consider industrial action

The management and labor unions of the Sereď-based Amazon logistics center have been discussing a new Collective Agreement for almost two years. They can’t agree on wages, and the unions also point at excessive mandatory overtime. They have declared a strike alert to demand a 5% wage hike, higher overtime pay and a return to the covid surcharge of €1.5 per hour that the center paid in March-May.
