Košice will have new zoning plan

The city of Košice sent for comments a new zoning plan and expects approval in 2025. The goal is a more compact and greener city with a denser network of public transport and cycle routes. The new city center is to be built in a former industrial area by the Hornád River and 12 km of tram lines are to be added.
