Kia will produce 180,000 electric vehicles annually in Žilina

The Žilina Kia car plant will increase production of electric vehicles to 180,000 units by 2027, tripling its original plan, Automotive News reported. The plant invested €108m to prepare for EV production and recently launched the EV4 model. It says EVs will not lead to job cuts, but rather a gradual qualitative transformation of roles.
