Intrum is leaving Slovakia
Intrum, Swedish credit management firm, is considering the sale of its Slovak, Czech, and Hungarian subsidiaries. It no longer sees these markets as promising. In July, it has already sold off branches in the Baltic countries and Romania. The Slovak subsidiary posted a huge €7.3m loss last year and sales fell 27% to €1.7m. Back in 2018, it reported €4m sales.
