Developer J&T RE is in the final stages of acquiring ice hockey club Slovan Bratislava, N daily sources say. The previous owner, Eset shareholder Rudolf Hrubý, died at the end of last year. Financing the club, which lost €11.6m in 2018-22, is an expensive hobby. The developer's biggest shareholder, Peter Korbačka, was involved when J&T co-owned football club Slovan Bratislava with Ivan Kmotrik's Grafobal more than a decade ago. He has intensive relations with the city of Bratislava, where he has many projects.
