Insurer Novis faces further fines
The central bank NBS continues to impose fines on insurer Novis (Siegfried Fatzi), which operates in several EU markets thanks to its Slovak license. The latest fine is for insufficient coverage of capital requirements by its own capital. At the beginning of 2020, the NBS imposed a record fine of €175,000 for using unfair marketing practices.
