InoBat presented new electric car battery and new member of management team
InoBat (Marián Boček) has presented a prototype of the new electric car battery it intends to mass produce in its €100m research and production facility in Voderady starting next year. It says this is the “first smart battery for electric cars in the world“ and its key strength will be customization for individual electric cars. It has an energy density of 263 Wh/kg, with a typical value today being 210-230. It works to increase the density to 350 Wh/kg. (zive.sk) So far, it has no customer for the new battery. It hopes it will sign the first contract next year, with a premium car maker with a production base in Slovakia. (dennikN.sk) Andy Palmera, ex-CEO of Aston Martin, maker of premium cars, has become part of the InoBat management team.
