Hochtief and Viakorp won €46m contract to prepare site for Volvo car plant

A consortium of Hochtief and Viakorp won a €46m contract to prepare the site for the Volvo car plant near Košice. The contract includes landscaping and a drainage system. Six companies competed in a tender with expected value of €89m. Volvo plans to open its €1.2bn plant in 2026.
