Harmanec-Kuvert completed €30m investment into paper bag production

Harmanec-Kuvert, Slovakia’s largest paper envelope maker, owned by Milan Fiľo (50%) and Germany’s Mayer-Kuvert (50%), launched a new €30m production line for paper shopping bags last week. In 2024, the company increased its sales by a fifth to €35m, and net profit rose at a similar pace to €1.3m. Since 2018, the plant has doubled its workforce to 250, with a goal to reach 500 in five years and a turnover of €100m.
